What is ORD?Online Records Dissemination (ORD) is a secure online
portal to access collision reports by insurance companies,
involved parties, and other authorized users. Citizens will
have the option to efficiently access collision reports 24/7
via a web interface at www.mycollisionreport.com. Access
to reports through the website is determined by governing
agency.
How It WorksCollision reports will be entered in to a database through a collision program. The
database is uploaded to an external server on a regular basis as determined by the
agency. When a consumer accesses the website, www.mycollisionreport.com, and
enters the required information, the site will either prompt for payment or notify that
the report is not available at the current time, allowing the user to enter an email
address for notification to be sent when it is available. There is a small convenience
fee to offset the cost of hardware/software, website development/hosting, data entry,
processing credit cards, and toll free support
Collision ProgramWith enrollment in ORD, your agency will receive access to
state of the art collision reporting and analysis software, FREE
OF CHARGE. The program has the ability to map high
incidence and historical collision locations using Google Earth
or ArcGIS.
Benefits & FlexibilitySecurityORD is managed on a dedicated server hosted at an
established data center with VPN management access. The
server facility provides physical security, firewall technology,
usage monitoring, strict password rules, tracking of failed login
attempts, and encrypted data service with 128 bit SSL security.
Not only will your agency receive state of the art collision reporting
and analysis software for FREE, but it will also maintian their
revenue stream for ever report sold with almost no out-of-pocket
expenses. ORD reduces counter traffic up to 75%, lowering
administrative costs immediately. Citizens and insurance
companies benet from increased convenience in obtaining
collision reports.
The collision program has the flexibility to capture hard copy,
scanned, faxed, or electronic collision reports for online access. It
also allows officers and personnel access to the reports from any
authorized location.
